Description

Viola made from European tonewood. Spruce from the Val di Fiemme in Italy (where the old Italian master maker families like the Amati, Stradivari, and Guarneri supposedly sourced their tops). The back is made from beautifully flamed maple from the Baltics.

This viola model was designed by Nathan for maximum ease of playing, and for the best tone possible in a smaller and lighter instrument. The tone is gorgeous, for a viola of any size.

Designed in 2019, the first two (#6 and #9) sold immediately to the first players that tried them.

This instrument is perfect for the seasoned symphony player looking for an easier-to-play instrument that doesn’t compromise on tone.

Video below is from an earlier instrument, sound sample for this instrument is coming soon.
