J. Albert Violin (Circa 1880) – Baroque Setup

Violin stamped “J. ALBERT MANUFACTURER OF AMERICAN VIOLINS PHILA”

There is no stamped date on the inside of the violin, it’s estimated that it was made around or before 1880. The violin has had extensive repairs (not done by Gig Violins) and is now set up to play as a Baroque violin, with a baroque tailpiece, bridge, and gut strings.

The violin has a gorgeous, even tone. It makes a great baroque violin!
