J. Albert Violin – Baroque Setup

Violin stamped “J. ALBERT MANUFACTURER OF AMERICAN VIOLINS PHILA”

There is no stamped date on the inside of the violin, it’s estimated that it was made between 1860-1880. The violin has had extensive repairs (not done by Gig Violins) and is now set up to play as a Baroque violin, with a baroque tailpiece, bridge, and gut strings.

The violin has a gorgeous, even tone. It makes a great baroque violin!
