Cello Progress: Latest violin is set up and sounding fantastic! This is my personal model Y violin. It has a wide dynamic range, with a rich tone. Great for a soloist, chamber, or orchestral musician! Something new coming soon! A pair of baroque cello bows, one with a round stick and one octagonal. Just finished up this Baroque Cello bow, octagonal stick with some real punch! Latest viola having a moment in the sun. It's bow rehair season here at Gig Violins! Latest viola in the afternoon sunlight. Latest viola is finished and ready to play! This is my personal model D, 409 mm (about 16 1/8"). It sounds dark and rich.
